Delete Your EPVision Account & Data
This page explains how to permanently delete your EPVision account and data — with the app installed, or without it.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Open the EPVision app.
- Go to Help & Support.
- Tap Delete all my data.
- Review the summary of what will be deleted, and confirm.
- Type DELETE exactly, as prompted, to confirm permanently.
Deletion begins immediately after you confirm and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app installed
If you no longer have EPVision installed, email us and we will process your deletion request:
Email privacy@eternalplates.com
Please use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include any details that could help us identify your account or app usage (for example, roughly when you last used the app, or your device type). EPVision uses an anonymous account identifier rather than an email or username, so this information helps us process your request correctly.
Processing timeframe for email-submitted requests: not yet finalized — in-app requests are processed immediately; a specific committed timeframe for email requests has not yet been published.
What gets deleted
- Your on-device content — recipes, sketchbook items, photos, and generated images (deleted from the device for the in-app method; for email requests, this applies to data stored on our servers, since on-device content by definition lives only on your device).
- Your anonymous Firebase account identifier.
- Fair-use/rate-limit records and active-request locks tied to your account, on our servers.
What may temporarily remain
Even after deletion, a small amount of data may briefly persist outside our direct control:
- Third-party AI provider logs: if you used an AI feature, OpenAI and/or Google (Gemini) may retain abuse-monitoring logs on their own systems for a limited period under their own policies — see our Privacy Policy, section 2.3.
- Cloud infrastructure logs: our cloud logging infrastructure retains limited technical logs (never your prompts, images, or content) for up to 30 days (ordinary logs) or 400 days (required audit logs) — Google Cloud's own default retention, not customized by us.
- Automatic expiry in progress: fair-use/rate-limit records are also subject to an automatic deletion policy that is not instantaneous (typically completing within ~24 hours of their own expiry) — but requesting account deletion removes these records immediately, regardless of this background process.
None of this remaining data includes your recipes, photos, prompts, images, or AI responses — see our Privacy Policy for the complete picture.
